What's New:
First, we have a Mystery Quilt Club from “Border Creek Station” . You need to register before Sept. 21; you will receive your fabric requirements with the first set of instructions in October, then each month you will receive a new set of color instructions to help you unravel the mystery. You have the choice to make a lap or a double sized quilt as well as a choice between two types of borders. In June we will have a revealing party for all participants to reveal their Mystery Quilts.

Karen and Suzanne are so excited since they came back from Pfaff Convention. Pfaff  has just released the “Creative Fabric Mover with Stitch regulator” The Fabric mover makes it so much easier to do free motion embroidery or quilting and the stitch regulator keeps all your stitches the same length. No more sore shoulders and arms; it is so easy to use. You will want to see it at work, so we are having a “Sew what’s new!!” day in the store on October 6. This is a chance for our customers to see all the new items we have in stock. We have some beautiful new patterns just arrived from Janet Rice- Bredin, Bee Creative and Border Creek Station.

We are also going to have Demo Days this Fall. The second Friday of the month we will be demonstrating a sewing or quilting technique at 1:30pm and 6:30pm. Learn how to make continuous bias binding, or perhaps how to insert an invisible zipper.(twice per day)  As well our third Thursday thread sale and Final Fridays are still in effect. Save 30% off thread on the third Thursday of each month.  If you finish a bolt of regular priced fabric on the final Friday of the month receive a 25% discount on the fabric.

If you are looking for a new sewing machine, come in and see us; we have a machine for the beginner and everything in between right up to the experienGrand Quilterced embroidery artist. Now is a good time to buy as we have all our demos on sale. We also have our Grand Quilter set up for anyone interested in doing a lot of machine quilting. It has an extra large work space for quilting those large bed sized quilts. The stitching is perfect and it sews at a speed of 1600 stitches per minute. Come in and give it a test drive. We are creating an email list for those who would like to receive our newsletter on a regular basis, as well as our class list. If you are interested in being on the list please call us 628-1998 or email us karen@quiltingb.ca and we will add your email address to the list.
